Recruitment
Referrals from trusted mentors is one of the most effective ways to connect exceptional students and recent alumni with fellowship opportunities and the Office of Fellowships. Throughout the year, Davidson faculty and staff are welcome to encourage students to schedule an Office of Fellowships appointment and to submit the Office of Fellowships Student Referral form.
Recommendations
A compelling recommendation letter can make all the difference for a fellowship candidate. It’s important that fellowship application recommendations go beyond general praise for candidates, and each letter should be tailored to align a candidate with the award’s specific selection criteria.
