Federal Depository Collection

This library is a congressionally designated depository for U.S. Government documents. Public access to the government documents collection is guaranteed by public law. (Title 44 United States Code)

The E.H. Little Library has been a selective Federal Depository Library since 1893. The depository collection includes more than 200,000 print and microform publications.

All depository materials, as well as over 150,000 links to online federal documents, are listed in the library catalog.

The depository collection not only supports student and faculty research at Davidson College; it is also open to the public. Members of the public are welcome to use the collection on site; we simply ask that persons unaffiliated with the college please register at the Information Desk and observe our guest user policy.
