Welcome Wildcats!
Summer Welcome events are designed for Davidson parents, families and mentors to get to know one another in an informal, fun environment, so they can start building their Davidson community.
Thank you to our families who attended a 2026 Summer Send-Off or Virtual Wildcat Welcome event!
We look forward to a new round of events in 2027.
Summer Send-Offs
The Office of Alumni and Family Engagement, in collaboration with current families, host a series of informal gatherings to welcome incoming students and their families.
These casual, relaxed gatherings take place in various regional areas. They offer an opportunity for incoming families to connect, while engaging with a college representative. Summer Send-Offs are a fantastic way to unite the Davidson community, and they allow students and their families to build their networks before arriving on campus for Orientation.
Registration links will be included as the event dates approach. Families are invited to attend any Send-Off listed.
