Davidson Black Alumni Network
Established in January 1988, the Davidson Black Alumni Network (DBAN) addresses the specific concerns of, and advocates for, Black students and alumni.
With more than 1000 members across the country, DBAN exists to support, inspire and engage Davidson's Black students and alumni academically, professionally and socially via networks, initiatives, and programs, connecting alumni and students to each other and to the Davidson College community.
Interested in helping lead the network, sharing a program idea, or hosting a DBAN-related chapter event in your city? Want to be added to the DBAN email list so you can receive future communications?
For questions or concerns, please contact Sarah Taylor, Associate Director of Alumni and Family Engagement, at sataylor@davidson.edu
DBAN annually honors students for their contributions to the Black, Indigenous, and/or People of Color (BIPOC) communities at Davidson College and/or beyond. These individual(s), through strength of character and commitment, have demonstrated activism, advocacy, or distinguished service to campus and community.
