The fourth annual Davidson Volunteer Week is April 6 - 14, 2019. This week, alumni, families and friends across the country will serve their communities around issues of hunger, homelessness, children's literacy, environmental sustainability and more.
Davidson Volunteer Week is the flagship initiative of DavidsonServes for Life, the Davidson alumni and families civic engagement initiative. The mission of DavidsonServes for Life is to commit the broader Davidson family to sustained civic engagement efforts. The Center for Civic Engagement also hosts its student service week at the same time, which aligns with National Volunteer Week.

Approximately 500 alumni, family and friends participate in service projects each year during Davidson Volunteer Week. If you are hoping to help organize a project, reach out to your local service chair. You can also view a list of past projects to see if your chapter or region was involved last year.
We are currently confirming, and in many areas recruiting, service event coordinators for the 2019 Davidson Volunteer Week. If you're interested in becoming a service event coordinator, please email email@example.com for more information on how to get involved. You can also reach out directly to our DavidsonServes for Life alumni volunteers Kenzie Warren '10 and Amoura Carter '07.
