Davidson Volunteer Week is the flagship initiative of DavidsonServes for Life, the Davidson alumni and families civic engagement initiative. The mission of DavidsonServes for Life is to commit the broader Davidson family to sustained civic engagement efforts.

This year’s Davidson Volunteer Week is transitioning to Davidson Volunteer Month a partnership between Alumni and Family Engagement and the Center for Civic Engagement, starting April 6.

Help is needed nationwide and in our own backyards, and we know if any group of people can make a disproportionate impact during this pandemic, it’s you. We have compiled a starter list of national and regional volunteer opportunities, if you are unsure where to get started. Please email alumniservice@davidson.edu to add other ideas as you learn of opportunities in your area or more broadly.

Please share on social media what you’re doing throughout Davidson Volunteer Month by using #DavidsonTrue and #DavidsonServes.  We hope to highlight on social media some Davidson students, alumni, faculty, staff and families who are making a difference. Let us know who they are by using the unsung hero nomination form.
