
First Year Wellness Retreat
First Year Wellness Retreat fuses elements of wellness to build community and introduce healthy habits that support students’ ability to thrive in their college experience.
This mid-year retreat provides space for reflection and guidance for students to develop the holistic wellness life they imagine.
Each day is spent intertwining dimensions of wellness to promote a holistic and lasting set of habits for individual and community well-being.
This 4-day immersion starts at a retreat center in the Blue Ridge Mountains, which allows for a peaceful and grounding experience. We finish by integrating what we’ve learned into campus life through activities in and around Davidson College.
Some activities include yoga, nature immersions, mindfulness, artistic projects, and exploring areas in and around Davidson College, as well as evening campfires with sharing and reflection circles.

Fees & Financial Aid
First Year Wellness Retreat is offered at no cost to students. Non attendance for any non-emergency situation will incur a fee.
