Who can participate in these workshops?

Workshops are designed for high school juniors, and the target audience is shared in each description.

Are these workshops specific to admission at Davidson?

Each workshop has been designed by a team that may consist of Davidson admissions staff, partners from other institutions, and our high school counseling colleagues. Our goal is to provide information in a broad scope that will serve participants regardless of where they apply. We encourage participants with questions specific to a school's admission process to reach out directly to that institution.

Are there any opportunities for Parents/Mentors?

Parents and mentors are invited to join their student in sessions that may interest them, however, registration is reserved for students.

Is there a cost to attend?

Nope!

Do I have to attend all of the workshops?

This series is designed for you to be able to select the workshops that will benefit and interest you the most. We encourage you to sign up for as many as you wish.

I am a freshman/sophomore and want to learn more, what can I do?

We are glad that you are interested in learning more about the college admission process. Your early high school years are an excellent time to take in as much information as possible and get to know a broad range of institutions. Campus tours and information sessions are a great start. You can fill out our inquiry form to be alerted to future opportunities.

Are there space limits for workshops?

Some workshops are limited and there will be an opportunity to join a waitlist.

What technology will I need to have to participate?

Most of our workshops will be held using the Zoom platform. You will need access to Wi-Fi and a device that supports Zoom.

Will Intensive sessions be recorded?

Sessions will not be recorded. If you are unable to make a session of interest and want to be notified of future events, please add your name to our mailing list to receive future notifications.
