COVID-19 Update

Since last August, hundreds of volunteers have been preparing for Reunion Weekend 2020. Your classmates have been reaching out to build excitement and thinking creatively about how to make reunion meaningful for all attendees – invaluable help for which we remain grateful.

And then everything changed.

As you know, the United States is abiding by physical distancing guidelines until April 30. Davidson asked all students who could leave campus to do so by March 17, converting all classes to remote instruction for the remainder of the spring semester. Commencement, scheduled for May 17, has been postponed. The coronavirus is a serious threat, and most modeling indicates the physical distancing guidelines in North Carolina will need to stay in effect until at least mid-May. The health and safety of the Davidson family is our primary concern.

With this in mind, Davidson College regretfully announces that Reunion Weekend 2020 will be postponed.

Our team is working with class volunteers to identify different ways to celebrate each of our reunion classes. As decisions are made, information will be shared on our website and through email.

Thank you for your flexibility, partnership and understanding. Please stay safe and healthy, and we look forward to celebrating with you soon.

Reunion Weekend 2020: June 5-7

Reunion Weekend is a celebration for the classes falling on every five-year anniversary from five to 60 years. It's a fun, family-friendly weekend that you will not want to miss. Reunion planning committees coordinate special class gatherings and additional activities to make the weekend unique and tailored especially for each class.
